ETHYL TRIFLATE – 425-75-2

Ethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (also known as ethyl triflate) has limited applications as a pharmaceutical agent. It is mostly used as a reagent in organic synthesis, particularly in the preparation of esters and ethers. However, it has been reported to have some biological activity as an antitumor agent, and there are ongoing studies to investigate its potential as a drug candidate for cancer treatment. Nonetheless, at present, it is not widely used or approved as a pharmaceutical agent.
