It belongs to the group of medicines called Nasal decongestants. It is used in adults and adolescents (aged 12 years or above) to relieve nasal congestion. It can also be used to provide relief from unpleasant symptoms of nasal cavity (such as nasal block, itching or discomfort) caused due to sinusitis (inflammation of the sinuses) or allergic rhinitis (an allergic condition)
